Much Too High a Price
I apologize for the lack of posting lately! My computer is currently infected with all sorts of ickyness (yes that is a word), and I haven’t been able to get to my documents. This week I’m off to have some much needed girltime. What’s in the works? Well, typical girl things of course. Swimming, pictures galore, make-overs ( oh boy, this could be interesting!), late nights, stargazing, laughing, tears, and more memories made than could ever be counted. Until next week, enjoy this song I stumbled across…the words are so haunting, and true.
“It’s crowded in worship today
As she slips in
Trying to fade into the faces
The girls’ teasing laughter is carrying farther than they know
Farther than they know
But if we are the Body
Why aren’t His arms reaching
Why aren’t His hands healing
Why aren’t His words teaching
And if we are the Body
Why aren’t His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way
There is a way
A traveler is far away from home
He sheds his coat
And quietly sinks into the back row
The weight of their judgmental glances tells him that his chances
Are better out on the road
But if we are the Body
Why aren’t His arms reaching
Why aren’t His hands healing
Why aren’t His words teaching
And if we are the Body
Why aren’t His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way
Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come
And we are the Body of Christ
If we are the body
Why aren’t His arms reaching
Why aren’t His hands healing
Why aren’t His words teaching
And if we are the body
Why aren’t His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way
Jesus is the way

Thousands of Words
I love this little playground. It makes the perfect place for fun pictures.
They also have this amazing little bandstand which helps when you want some of those artsy type shots.
I love those girls!

Louisa’s ‘Shoot
I was privileged to meet Louisa Sayar when I started working at Chick-fil-A. Throughout those two years we became good friends, and I can definitely say she was my best Chicken buddy. We both have parted ways with that chicken place, but we have managed to stay in touch. She mentioned she needed some pictures of herself because she didn’t have any. At that point this photo loving gal nearly passed out. We finally made a date and this Saturday we spent an enjoyable morning together, just having fun and taking pictures. It really adds so much to the photography experience when you are good friends with your subject (or in her case the photographer). So many of the “bad” pictures I had were just blurry because we were talking too much and dying laughing at some Chick-fil-A experience. I had a wonderful time with this gal, and she kindly allowed me to put some of my favorites up on my blog. It was a tough choice, but I managed to narrow it down slightly.
I am so grateful to be doing what I love to do, and I pray the Lord will help it to grow into a succesful business. It is such a joy to love your job.
